The Executive Group

Built from one dealership

He founded Executive Motors in 2005, after rising through Peugeot Automobile Nigeria. It grew into a group with interests in training, administration, project management and investment.

How he runs a business

He tells his staff that five years is enough time to learn, then encourages them to leave and start their own companies, and supports them when they do. Suppliers to the group have been helped to grow alongside it.

Executive Trainers, run by his wife Dr. (Mrs) Ajoke Ogunsan, began with Oxford Brookes University and by 2016 worked with 13 partner universities, running at least two international programmes a month for Nigerian vice-chancellors, rectors, provosts and administrators.

“Go to any higher institution today in Nigeria and ask for Executive Trainers. I want to advance the course of higher education in Nigeria, and I am not losing focus.”
